Plus International Design Festival

Plus International Design Festival 07 is a unique design and typographic festival which comprises an exposition, conference, artist exhibitions, workshops, business forums, lectures, portfolio sessions, walking tours and many other events.

Plus features work from international design agencies, freelancers, recent graduates and students working in the areas of graphic communication, typography, type design, web, animation and multimedia. For 2007 Exhibitors include London based Zip Design, whose client list boasts Blackberry, Paul Smith and Virgin Records, and two of the UK’s most respected illustrators, Si Scott and Jasper Goodall.

Plus 2007 also featured an international conference on the theme of Moving Type and a unique programme of workshops and events run in conjunction with the design Council, Design Business Association, the Chartered Society of Designs and the Association of Illustrators.

My role in the Plus team 2007 was to generate sponsors in order to maximize the festival budget and add value to the visitor experience. A portfolio of sponsors were generated from both a trade and lifestyle perspective. Sponsors included GF Smith, Team, Masion Maci, Illy, Fracino, Fused Magazine, Moo and Pyramid Screens.
